This book was required reading in my early childhood education program. It is a great introduction to what is safe, healty, and nutritious for children. A simple straight forward approach to information about children that every parent and/or caregiver should know. Enjoy a healthy meal while doing it safely and nutritionaly!This is a pager turner from beginning to end. It took me about three and a half hours to read from chapter 1 on. I have a 2 year old daughter and it was a blessing in disguse to find a book that would actually get me to realize what I needed to do to assist myself and daughter to do to get a healthier lifestyle while still enjoying the "no-no's" on occasion. A must read for all those parents that would enjoy even cooking better foods for their family and have time to spare for a sit down meal. | ||||||||||||||||||
