She reviews the basics including positioning, terminology and equipment needs. More importantly, she introduces the young reader to role models in women's hockey with profiles on past and current international stars. The book is laid out in a manner which makes it enjoyable for both kids and adults to read. I recommend this book for all young female athletes, but especially for those with an interest in hockey. | ||||||||||||||||||
