He gives it in such a way that it seems as if he is telling you a story face to face. Experience both in the field and with the pen are shown.Babcock has the uncanny ability to select just the right word or phrase to describe an event or personal trait. I enjoyed his ability to take the ordinary and familiar and make them come alive with the English language. Only the person who has spent considerable time on the lake or in the field will realize how realistic his accounts truly are. | ||||||||||||||||||||
