Daniel Stern's short stories are funny, wise, fresh and more than anything else a wonderful antidote to the dry, zombie stories that have been the rule in this MFA culture of literature. And I haven't even gotten to the fact that Stern boldly uses literature and art as a sort of ironic guide for life, full of questions without any answers. He's read all the books, I mean all of them. Hopefully, Stern will be remember as part of the greatest Literary movement of the post-WW II American scene, Jewish-American writers.
