The book provides a very nice survey of the various energy resources, as well as the economic and environmental issues they raise. It is designed for graduate-level or undergraduate courses. Its strengthes are in its discussion of property and environmental issues, and its discussions of economic regulation. This is the only textbook that discusses deregulation of the electric power industry, and the chapter on stranded costs provides an interesting and balanced discussion of the bailout that we in California are all too familiar with.
Great resource
Rating: 4/5
This book gives a great overview of U.S. energy law and administration with respect to all types of energy sources. It's not just for lawyers, economists, or environmentalists.
This is a great resource for paper-writing or for classroom text.
