Although it has many ideas for practice building, very little of it applies specifically to finding clients who are willing to go around their insurance plans and pay cash for services. The rest of it could be found in any good marketing book. I was specifically interested in strategies for finding clients who will pay cash - all she really says here is that you need to be able to tell them why they should. How to build a thriving fee for service practiceI found this book to have concise information relative to the industry. Kolt's concept of creating "Niche" practice is pertinent to survival in the industry. This and Lynn Grodski's book on "Building your ideal Practice" are a great duo for anyone needing a boost in business mindset. Not worth the paper it's printed onI've been in psychotherapy for a long time, and believe me, I know a good book on the subject when I see one. First of all, there aren't enough pages. I like big books; really big books. This isn't a big book. And why paperback? I like hardcover books. They look better on my bookshelf, along side all the other books I've never read. | ||||||||||||||||||
