This book is intended for part-time clinical faculty in nursing programs but it has excellent chapters that can be helpful to anyone teaching in nursing education. It addresses many helpful techniques that experienced clinical educators have used, as well results of research in clinical teaching. The chapter dealing with interpersonal issues in clinical education is especially helpful in addressing the difficult situations that arise with students. The book addresses the context of education from a theoretical perspective and incorporates the legal and ethical issues which impact teaching in the clinical setting. I found this a very helpful resource in the graduate courses I teach in nursing education.
