A "Jump Start" on Biblical Hebrew Vocabulary

Georg Landes has a very nice synopsis of "How Hebrew Words Are Formed" as an introduction and foundation for the rest of his volume. He then provides various lists of biblical Hebrew words occuring 10 times or more(subcategorized by frequency), which group "families" of words by their verbal roots and by groups, when their verbal root is uncertain or unknown. With an emphasis on making the most of learning the high frequence words, these lists of Hebrew words with their individual English translations allow the student of the Hebrew Bible to build a vocabulary in a natural way and learning "two or three or more words for the price of one." An index of words is provided in the back.
