What is everyone doing this summer? Twin2 did this very topic a year ago today, but a new year needs a new page.

I went to Girls' State and am trying to work. That's about it. Oh and I turn 17 in august

oh and I'm working for the band teacher this week
and I'm going to camp soon
but I will be all alone
because trumpet p just won't go to camp this year
so I will be absolutely miserably alone
just kidding

I thought Trumpet was going to camp this year. And you're working for Mr. P?

My summer plan is to make a plan to travel. Well I'm not going to go anywhere during the summer. Too hot, too busy. But I'll make some plan, so when fall comes, I'll have a place to go... I've more than a month of vacation and can choose to go anywhere in the world...

Other news, it looks like I might be able to doo more this summer. If you live in the NW US stay off the sidewalks and roads for a little bit around 10:30 this morning. Why?? Because I'm taking my driver's test today. A bit Scary, but I hope I can pass the first time. (If not it's another $10 for the tests and rescheduling.) Wish me luck! I tell what happened later!

I just got back from camp
we learned about music theory, conducting, proper breathing, playing our instrument more effectively, and physics

yeah physics
one rehearsal we spent the whole hour learning about sound waves and what exactly happens when someone is out of tune, and a neat little tid bit about the difference between women's hearing and men's hearing

yeah
they did research and played all the pitches in human hearing at the same volume and men said that they were all the same volume and women said that a certain range was louder
can you guess the sound of that range

it's the range where babies cry
that's why it seems like women hear babies crying more often
