Nuclear non-proliferation treaties without any will to impose real consequences, are absolutely ridiculous. We should have set up twosteps a long time ago:
First threat by North Korea: Absolute, complete cutoff of any aid, assistance or relations. Nothing gets out, nothing goes in.
Second threat. The entire world invades, with every available soldier on the planet, and Kim takes the fast road to the eternal judgement bar with a bullet to his evil brain. Yes, innocents will die in the process and that is awful. But last time I checked, a lot of innocents were already dying within the borders of that nation anyway, and have been for nearly 50 years, thanks to having a heartless pyschopath at the helm. At least this way, we can do something about stopping it.
But no, we just sit around and mumble about partial sanctions. So NK gets what it wants, a bomb that it could use to kill millions of people or sell to Osama, Iran will be next to follow and heaven help us all.
