I have a random curiosity to see how long a topic with no subject and no purpose other than to exist can survive. I'm guessing less than a week, however, someone may prove me long.

And now to add a little flavour.

Burgandy.

and whose to say that a pointless thread can't survive. after all this very pointless forum has survived quite a while
of course here there are many conversations of pointless (to some people) things such as penguin wars and salmon pigeon

by the way how goes the penguin, cow, squirrel war? Has any one heard any news lately?

Bomadeno likes to eat Burgundy socks for their high protein content. If he doesn't get this protein he could suffer the most horrible illness known to man - common acne.

It seems the pointless thread about burgundy socks and penguin warfare has become more focused on wondering when I will get here to spread my wisdom. And here it is... this thread will last forever, as everyone here is very adamant about proving things wrong. Long ago a series of polls revealeved that everyone here likes doing exactly what is not expected of them. Anyway, I'm here now so I'll get email notifications adn be back more regularly. But now I must run away back to my language processing program, which currently has 100% accuracy. (naturally, this is a rather annoying bug... that originally filled me with optimism)
