I hate mosquitos with a passion. What is everybody elses view of them

Argh me too.

Like wasps. I mean, What do they do? (both wasps and mosquitoes) They do nothing except fly rond biting/stinging people. At least bees make honey. And nothing eats them, so how are they contributing? What do they eat? Im sure the world could do without them.

Mosquitoes are horrid little pests. And they love to bite me. I can not walk out of the house without at least 15 of them biting me. I think they lie in wait for me to go outside and so they can have a feast!! They really like my blood them I go around with huge welts on my body because the bites swell up on me.

i have about a million bites on my hand from when i slept outside a few nights ago. Does it seem like they got faster this year?

i think mosquitos are fascinating creatures, just like all the other insects. They're easily kept away with a mosquito coil etc, so they don't bother me. Unless one gets into my room when im trying to sleep...then it's war.

I have like 6 different mosquito bites on my ankle. I've scratched them so much that they have bled and scabbed over. I hate them and deserve to die.

but without the makitos diseases and things wouldn't spread properly and some ecosystems etc would be upsetted...nothing is alive without reason....irritating as they might be. And makitos annoy our enemies too, provided we all have them, so they kind of take our revenge on all our behalfs too!

Revenge as in taking a large group and mosquitos and releasing them onto your enemy?

I was just enjoying the thought that mosquitos don't just bite me, they alos bite the people i hate. [who also get more annoyed by them than i do]

You shall love your enemies (and mosquitoes) as well as your neighbor. But of course, if they try to suck your blood, it's perfectly all right to squeeze them between your fingers and flush them down the toilet.

I have to say, hate doesn't even come close to how much I sincerely LOATHE them. I go outside for two minutes and come back with 16 different mosquito bites! They love me, but I'd rather spontainiously (?)combust than have to stay in my back yard all day long!
I'll walk down the street and have a zillion bites, almost everywhere on my body!
Okay, I'm done ranting now.
This is very off-topic, but has anyone else seen that I've been the newest member since June 23? Is this site not very popular?

I read somewhere that mosquitoes bites are healthy to you. They help you to recycle your blood system, like some kind of mini cleansing. That's of course, if you don't conduct West Nile virus or similar disease during the process...

And I can assure your this is an extremely popular website... or at least will become one very soon. Our next marketing campaign is to train a bunch of vampires and release them in the Internet, so their victims will automatically join our group. I know, it's kind of evil, but it's for the general goodness.

If they did, and the bites became itchy, then the vampires would become as bad as mosquitos.
