Nostradamus was a 16 century French astrologer who wrote cryptic predictions.

His most famous quatrain is:

Beasts ferocious from hunger will swim across rivers:
The greater part of the region will be against the Hister,
The great one will cause it to be dragged in an iron cage,
When the German child will observe nothing.

It said to have correctly predicted Hister (Hitler) and World War II.

Here's my quatrain:
The great bird of dodos would raise from their graves,
The new world would rise up against its invasion,
A third of the birds would die,
and the remaining two third would live,
Agreement would reach in the nest and last for a long millennium.

This is suppose to predict some future world events... I would interpret it once it comes true...

There might be a Nostradamus hidden among us. Make some prediction, don't be shy. It might come true.

Your quatrain is rather simple to interpret, before it comes true. It says that a civilization like rome or eygpt or greece is going to suddenly become powerful and begin WWIII. After they suffer heavy casulaties (1/3 of there people) they will make a treaty and the third world war will end in a draw, throwing the earth into world peace.

That is probably not right, and it may never happen. Or then again it may.

Nostradamus also said that come the new milenium the vilage idiot would come forward in a powerful cuntry and lead it. i don't have the direct wording, but it is at my dad's office. I could get it some time.....

... I think the quatrains will be much more accurate when something happens and we twisted the original words to fit that events. So the trick of the great prophecy is not to interpret it too early...

Here I'm going to make another quatrain:
A frog meets a fox.
The fox caught the frog.
A dog see the fox.
They share the frog with a fork.

You see, it can apply to any world event, or any animals encounters in the wild life channel.

I remember watching a cheesy Nost. film back in school that predicted, quite ominously, WWIII beginning in 1994. Far as I know, ain't happened yet.

The world is probably going to end within a million years... So if you bet any year in the future, you have about 1 out of a million chance to bet the right year. That's bigger than the chance you will win a lottery.

Here's my interpretation. The Dodo bird is native to Australia(if my memory is correct),so before Bush ("new world order") is out of office, Australia will have war with U.S.A. Probably because Bush will want to take over their oil supply (I've heard they also have oil), but Australia will fight back, and after losing 1/3 of Australia's army, they will come to an agreement of sort over oil, and all will be well for a millennium.
