Is tiger meat good to eat?

I've often wondered the same thing, and do you know, I think it may be a bit stringy. Still, gotta try everything once, eh?

I'm a bit shocked at your lack of empathy for an extremely rare and endandered species.

If tigers were domesticated for eating then they wouldn't be nearly so rare and endangered, because more people would give a damn about them. Mind you, I'm a from a country that eats it's national emblem, so perhaps my approach to this is not usual.

Do you have any idea how we raise cows? Do you know what factory farming is?

Its actually pretty barbaric and disgusting. I quit eating meat once I discovered the truth about how the animals are slaughtered, tortured, injected with anti-biotics and kept in a constant state of filth and squalor.

some cows are raised with kindness and there are the local butcher shops that aren't that bad. I prefer not to think of how the meat was made like I just hate the ingredients in hotdogs and that has stopped me from liking them but now the knowlege I get of foods does not prevent me from eating them because If I quit eating every gross thing, I wouldn't be able to eat anything

we just can't raise tigers like we raise cows because they have too much pride as an animal and no matter how domestic they get they still have their instincts
in fact it is proven that cats have kept more of their instincts than dogs

I think British cows are well fed and looked after and such, seing as the RSPCA would be on unlawful farmers in shot. Or an undercover show on food safety. Or the French who hate our meat so much.

You know, tigers are not vicious. In the wilderness, where're many tigers who got fatally wounded by cows, or the ancestors of cows (a.k.a. bulls). Cows got domesticated instead of tigers was probably because they are more meaty and fit nicely between two buns.

Regarding the logic of treating animals nicely: So it's immoral to beat the animal but it's moral to kill the same animal for food?

The same logic of morality was using against keeping the slaves in the early days: Like it's immoral to beat the slaves, but it's ok to keep them enslaved.

Hmmm, it seems the current morality still need some improvement on keeping its logical coherence. Or perhaps morality is just some gimmicks to keep us "feel good".

Gah! nobody should eat tigers, or kangaroos for that matter, but hey, we're sick and twisted over here, mate! still, the vast majority of aussies have no interest in eating kargaroos.

What a horrible thing to consider...tigers are beautiful, endagered living things. Keep it ethical, people [by which i mean stick to child meat]

Thought I read somewhere that eating the flesh of carnivorous creatures is more of a health risk than that of herbivores.
