Wisdom does not come with the gathering of knowledge, but from the disbandment of ignorance.

A sock is infinitely wise, for it know not how to be unwise.

But aren't these one and the same? Gathered knowledge dispels ignorance, as a hand gathering dryer lint also cleans the lint trap.

The gathering of lint doesn't dry your socks, but the ignorance of lints will eventually burnt your dryer, so your socks could no longer be dried.

The gathering of knowledge make a man knowledgeable but that doesn't equal to wise. The lack of knowledge, however, will burn the dryer in your brain, giving you a mossy brain, and that will make you less wise.

yes but widom also comes with age and experiance so does wisdom come from holes in ones sock

wisdom is making sure the holes in the socks don't try to amputate your toe.

so when a sock gets holes that could amputate your toe retire them and there wisdom can still be a joy to us all
