What happens when you like someone but you are shy and won't tell them? I want to know because it is driving me insane watching them.

that depends on who it is, i wold just tell them though im holding back too im supposed to ask some one to homecoming but ive ben to lazy to do it but yeah just tell them i mean itys the best way to find out and it also shows a vary admirble trait,,, confidence

I don't have any clue. I haven't every really woried about it. I have found that not worrying is always the best course. Not that that helps much.

I added another option because.. well I couldn't answer any of the above. I personally can never afford to go to the cinema - and have ahd uncomfortable 'dates' with people there... there's no escaping if you get stuck in the midddle of a row....

And the kissing, on a first date, could be a mistake which ruins a friendship. Holding hands, maybe not a bad idea, tub it depends on the situation...

Despite being inexperienced in the particular area, from general human behaviour, its best to do whats natural... if you accidentally brush hands, then do it again and again, maybe thats an indication both people want to hold hands, so possibly where you should head. Maybe the cinema later on.. that would be my two cents.

As for dates.. I'm going to town tomorrow with someone, and am nervous/excited/happy /etc, so, wish me luck :shock:

Have fun on your date Bomadeno. I have homecoming coming up an wish that the boys in my school would be brave enough to ask me but they probally won't. I got asked today by a friend by email. My parents know him and said no. Kinda wish that they wouldn't have. What do you do when your parents tell you you can't go to a dance with someone? Probally the only person likly to ask you.

Go, and tell your parents you're going with someone, but you don't want to tell them who because you're shy. Or lie, tub thats not usually a good idea.

Or go alone, and meet him there?

Well, time passed to fast, I didn't say some things which I meant to say, its horribly complicated stuff, I felt good and yet bad that I couldn't openly feel good, I felt scared, tense, wanted to run run run run away but not, wanted to stay in town easily another 2 hours, and just failed miserably.

The first date is always the scariest to my oppion. And Lycan that's a rude question. why would anyone want to know someones dating habits unless they are dating? What is with that.
