Ok so I may be behind on my computer knowledge, but when did Macs support windows? I was shocked when I heard this on an ad today...ok that was my story...oh wait one more part to this as a question to pc users...would you use a Mac if it was running windows and get rid of your regular desktop or laptop

Only the new mac is capable of running windows. And no, I see no reason in using OSX. the only good reason to get such a system is dualboot..

There is a program that can be bought that allows you to have windows on a mac, at the same time as having the mac operating system. It's pretty good for running games on a mac if they havent been recoded for mac yet, but other than that, most software can run on either platform anyway, except internet explorer. I haven't bothered to get the program, tho I do miss having my games on my mac. Oh well. The mac system is heaps more reliable, and less inclined to viruses too, as well as having (in my opinion) superior graphics. Plus I found out the other day my mac has more than 3times the harddrive gig of my pc, which is lovely.

i was a pc user, and i got a mac because its industry standard in graphic design, before i knew it supported windows. I thought i'd use the pc most and the mac for work type stuff. but now i use the pc for one game that i play, and the mac for everything else. i'd go back to windows if it was more stable, but im happiest jumping tween the two.

and thats my mac/pc rant done for the day. if you read this far, you are to be commended!
