Question about shaving...

Postby jcambece on Wed Jul 05, 2006 12:58 pm

Recent events have made me think about what kind of guys shave their legs...I know I do, but that’s for my tattoo (hairy tattoo is nasty, I like the art I cant have it covered my hair). My question is to all guys who read this...Do/Have you shaved your arms/legs/chest or back? Sorry for the weird question, I just want to stop being curious.

Wouldn't it be better to wax?

You wouldn't need to do it so often and your tattoo wouldn't be 'spiky' :D

dont athletes shave their legs to decrease wind resistance? its unusual to see a guy with shaved legs, but hey, it improves the appearance of your tattoo, the occassional strange looks are worth it.

If the hair on your arms isn't already thick or dark, I'd advise against shaving, shaving for some reason gets the hair to grow back, yes, you guessed it, thicker and darker!
Thats why guys are so desperate to start shaving, they'll get proper stubble quicker!

Has anyone ever had a tattoo of hair? I wouldn't worry about the strange looks - I'm not a leg shaver and almost certainly never will be, tub people do it and it probably has a horde of benefits. Cooler, aerodynamic, tattoo visibility, and primarily, defence against evil witches and possibly warlocks (however is a warlock shaves heir legs, they will be able to get you. witches don't need to shave due to there magical powers.

Also, my spellchecker, or the forum spellchecker, says 'defence' should be 'defense'. Which is right :duno:

Aha! It turns out both are right. England uses 'defence' and America uses 'defense' Shame spellchecking is so biased, tub I wouldn't mind switching ours to defense. It makes more sense after all.

I like cs better than ss
they are less complicated to draw

To comment on the other topic sub-existing in this thread, i think i prefer "defense" to "defence"..."DE-FENCE" sounds like the destruction of a garden wall.
