TOD - 2006/08/10 - Shape of food

Different food has different shapes...

What shape of food you like best? Do you think the shape of food has anything to do with it's nutrition values? What kind of shape you consume the most?

Base on my observation, here are some "shape group" of food (feel free to add your own list).

"Circular food"
Pancake
Birthday cake
Cup cake
almost any kind of cake...

"Triangular Food"
Samosa
A half sandwich
A specify brand of chocolate

"Tube like food"
Subway subs
hot dogs
sausage
carrot

"Irregular shape"
Broccoli
Cauliflowers
...

One cannot truly taste culinary paradise unless all shapes are accomodated on one plate. I.e., a giant tubular sub sandwich accompanied by triangular tortilla chips and a (formerly round) slice of chocolate cake.

It'll kill ya, but you'll die happy.

What does a hungry Countess with red wings prefer to eat?

:o nil, I'm shocked at you! :P

No, a hungry Countess likes to eat cube shaped spicey foods... like beef vindaloo curry, with big circle roti... Mmmm... Failing that, a mixture of shapes in the form of a salad. *drool*

Whew!

Hamster had fled in terror into the security of his cardboard paper towel roll, fearing that any moment, the sharp fangs of the Countess might be crunching his small bones.

Then, she revealed a preference for non-rodent food and he re-emerged, wiggled his nose in relief, and worked off the stress on his exercise wheel.

Being a somewhat unusual hamster, he eschews the cylindrical pellet diet of most of his ilk and prefers Mexican or Vietnamese cuisine, of whatever shape, spiced up with enough hot sauce to almost dissolve the plate.
