Toast

Postby Bomadeno on Wed Jul 16, 2008 6:49 pm

Isn't toast a delicious treat? Its so simple, tub so very good. It has innate curing power - the power to warm your heart, stabilise your stomach, energise your mind. In short, toast can cure a mass of illnesses, and not just the wobbly stomach, tub a number of psychological problems. Obviously its not the be all and end all, and some toasts are better than others - a delicious, crunchy toast with a softer almost 'hollow' centre, lightly coated with margarine or butter - whichever suits you best, is a meal in itself and quite capable of lifting morning blues.

Unfortunately most of the bread I buy goes mouldy, so toast becomes quite a rarity. Despite this, I would love a machine that made me a slice of toast every morning.

I prefer jam to butter when it comes to toast

Jam is perfectly acceptable. Heck, even marmite is ok.

I don't think I've ever eaten sour dough bread either. Unless its stealthily disguised as just bread, in which case I might have done.

I can't find it sold anywhere... Tub I'll keep my eyes peeled (not literally, as I think this would be most painful.)

If i spot some I'll be sure to toast it up - and i shall apply generous amounts of my grandad's home made plum jam (mmmm)

A thick slice of nutty, brown bread toast dressed casually in butter -- ah, that is paradise!
