Spyro 2

Postby Bomadeno on Thu Aug 14, 2008 2:22 pm

(I'm making a few threads out of the favourite games threads, to liven this forum up a bit.)

Spyro 2 was the first game I ever played, and I loved it. It was beautiful, clever and challenging. I was the first in my family to defeat the final boss (a real challenge, and a memory I'll never forget!) I also played some of the others - 1 and 3 briefly, both were good (3 particularly). However when brought to the ps2 it seemed the spyro genre died, my experience of it was annoying and tedious, instead of shiny and full of happy 'glings' from gem collection.

You did :(

Try to find it in a bargain bin, along with a bargain bin playstation? (or ps2!).

That's how I got my ps2 :D

Go to stores (probably game stores) and look for a basket/bin thing containing old stock that they want to sell off fast. Its usually discounted massively. Most of what is in there will be junk, but the small amount that isn't might be real gems of finds. Playstations aren't often in them but, last week my brother got a gamecube for £10 out of one ($20)

that's why he bought it... then he found zelda is a rare game, so he hasn't managed to get a copy of it. He has some other games though, like super monkey ball.

Yeah apparently so, its probably because everybody buys it so there aren't many left. Maybe they should make more copies of it :?

I thought you meant Zelda was a Rare game there, as in the game designers. But now I understand. It's popular enough that pple don't want to get rid of their copies.
