That one does look nasty. Probably because most people pour brandy over it and set it on fire, thenn eat it. It's really just a very rich fruit cake.

I like the ones my aunt makes.

Christmas pud is the nicest pudding ever. It's only fruit and spices (some have things like brandy too though), what's so disgusting about it? :?

By the way it is 100% British. No other county in the world eats it!
My family always gets really delish ones from Harrods. If you ever get one, go for the GREEN WRAPPER, as opposed to the rest.

Seriously though, why do Americans think our food is so awful? What traditional food have you got?

I don't complain about british food or think it's awful(but then again, both my other and grandmother are british.) Haven't had chistmas pudding though, so I can't say anything about it.
I like Anime and Manga and Music and DOCTOR WHO!!

US Traditional foods ha!
Hot dogs, apple pie , Hamburgers, french fries (chips)
Traditional food is more like Thanksgiving ( the holiday that celebrates when the Native Americans took pity on the settlers and helped them learn to live in this land and they celebrated their first harvest.)Food for this holiday is
Turkey with stuffing, Gravy, Mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, A veggies usually corn, Sweet potatoes or yams with marshmellows melted over the top, crudites, salad green and fruit, bread or rolls and pies usually at least one pumpkin pie served with whipped sweet cream.served with soda pop or milk, except at my house and we are allowed a glass of wine or sparkling cider.
