I am as a God to them

Postby TheCountess on Mon Oct 10, 2005 10:15 am

Do any Simmers this way lurk? Those likewise addicted to the lure of playing god in the world that is Sims2? I cannot escape the grasp of my legacy challenge. I even micro manage, my Sims never have a moment on their own. At the moment I am a benevolent God, but soon my mood my turn, and my Sims may find themselves the victims of strange fires, extramarital affairs, and alien births. Are there more like me on this site? Please tell me I do not suffer my addiction alone.

Currently im experimenting with vampire sims, to find how quickly they burn in sunlight. And there is the rumour of a Santa Clause of Death item coming soon.... Ah, killing them is fun.

I played sims 1.... it was horribly disappointing...

Tub thats my onion, maybe i just didnt get the game. My people died, and i was trying *not* to kill them.

Sim city is a little easier, and just as fun to wreak havoc in

My sister owns Sims Deluxe so I've played that. I killed one of my families, it was fun. But now our computer doesn't have enough memory to run and save it.
I like Anime and Manga and Music and DOCTOR WHO!!

Sim City got confusing.. when the buildings get big enough, and you're really proud of them, you have to bulldoze them to make way for a new powerplant, or a new transport system to support even bigger buildings, but when you bulldoze a big building to make the perfect spot there were no longer people to use the new facilities, and it was all a waste of money.

Then you can only finish it with a meteor....

Yeah I knowticed that! They are never happy - always sad to the same degree!!!

Except when you shut down the funding to their hospital, or pour nuclear waste everywhere. then they *really* complain.

they also really complain when you send a hurricane but how could they know that you sent it and it wasn't just a natural disaster

Well real humans call it an act of God... and we're playing God.... and maybe God thinks 'I didn't do that, it was a natural disaster'

Could you please pm me his answer? I'd like to know his view on a few things. Like why do roads get dug up for no reason, then left. Then only worked on 6 months later, when the traffic isn't so bad anyway.
