IN english this week and next we are reading exerpts from moby dick by herman melvile. Have any of you out there read it. What do you think?
I like Anime and Manga and Music and DOCTOR WHO!!

Moby Dick is a good book a Classic as they say. I think you all will find it interesting.

I love "Moby Dick".

I'd seen the old movie with Gregory Peck as Ahab, so with those visuals in mind, reading the book is like bringing it all to life again but with a deeper perspective. I think Melville actually spent time whaling, so that adds heaps for me.

There are some boring bits but it's still a great read. I hope you decide you like it.
