If you feel like dabbling with your own fate, lithium (as an example of a group one metal) is shiny when cut, non-magnetic and very soft (for a metal- you can cut it witha knife)

Just don't put it near water. Or in it. Unless you're explosion proof. Like me.

If you need metals for a metalwork project... try:

Aluminium, brass, stainless steel (or mild steel, easier to shape but rusts), copper can work, tin if you can find it. I'd go with aluminium myself :D

Do sodium or gold fit those categories?

I love metals. I collect the raw ores, in case anyone cares, but I doubt they do.

Please don't hate yourself, punk04. Unless you are a genocidal maniac who has inflicted copious suffering upon the human race, which I rather doubt, there's probably at least one or two things to love about you, and someone, somewhere, who does.

And what is "cool" anyway? Such a stupid word. What's cool one year gets laughed at the next. (Think disco, bellbottoms, and fad-words like nifty and gag me with a spoon.)

The only true cool is to enjoy the ^%$&* out of life, within the bounds of legality.
