After thinking about a lot of things, mostly socks, I realised that something was missing from my life, some little magic that I could have sworn was there last time I turned around, and it was the little pocket of insanity known as hat.net. So I'm back. Hello all. And Happy Bertday to ABS too. I love this smiley ------>

Since I last was here, I've spent a week on a desert Island, got a new puppy (though not as good as my old puppy) and had my cat accidentally cockroach-bombed. What's been happening here?

Cockroach bombed him, yes.

You know those spray can type of things that you put all through your house, shut the doors and windows, set off, then leave the house for few hours and go shopping, and when you get back the floor is littered with dead cockies, which continue to appear for about a week, and if you didn't seal up the fish tank your fish are floating?
Yeah, well we cockroach bombed the cat. We couldn't find him so we assumed he was outside. Just set the bombs and went shopping for a few hours in town. Got back, dumped the groceries on the floor, said 'hi' to the cat as he trotted complacently into the kitchen from the other end of the house, did a double take and realised that THE STUPID MOGGY MUST HAVE BEEN INSIDE THE WHOLE TIME! He hasn't dropped dead yet, thankfully. That stuff is strong. At least we have established that he isn't a roach. I did wonder about the old bastard.
